Early 1990s
A soulful, bass-driven deep house lineage that emerged from Miami's Murk Records scene in the early 1990s, led by Oscar G and Ralph Falcon (recording as Murk, Liberty City, and other aliases). "Some Lovin'" (1992) and "Fired Up" (1996) are its two most widely cited landmark exports, and the sound remains an active, influential thread in Miami's house scene today.
